At Justus Media Marketing (JMM), we value transparency and fairness. This policy explains when clients and customers are eligible for refunds or returns. By purchasing our products or services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Physical Products (T-Shirts, Journals, Notebooks, Business Cards, Printed Materials)
• Return Window: Physical products may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.
• Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned in the same condition received.
• Refund Amount: Eligible returns will be refunded at 50% of the purchase price, unless the item is defective or damaged, in which case a full refund or replacement will be provided.
• Return Shipping: Unless the item is defective or damaged, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
2. Digital Products & Custom Services
(includes website building, 1-to-1 web support, digital flyers, content creation, etc.)
• Refunds for Completed Phases: Due to the custom nature of digital services, refunds are not available for project phases that have already been completed.
• Edits: Each project includes up to three rounds of edits to ensure client satisfaction.
• Partial Refunds / Credits: If a client chooses not to continue after the third round of edits, JMM may issue a partial refund or credit based on the value of the phases already completed (see breakdown below).
Project Phase Breakdown
• Discovery & Strategy = 20% of total project value
• Design Mockup = 30%
• Development = 40%
• Edits & Launch = 10%
If a client cancels before project completion, any completed phases are non-refundable, and the value of remaining phases may be refunded or credited toward future services. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
3. Full Upfront Payments
If a client pays the full project fee upfront:
• The client may request a refund up to 25% of the project fee if the first design draft is disapproved in writingand the project is terminated at that point.
• After acceptance of the design draft, refunds follow the Project Phase Breakdown above.
4. Client Responsibilities & Project Discontinuation
• To keep projects on schedule, clients must provide requested content (text, images, etc.) in a timely manner.
• If JMM makes five documented requests (via email, text, or written record of a phone call) for required content and the client does not respond, JMM may pause or discontinue the project.
• If the project is discontinued and final payment has not been made, the client may receive a 50% refund of the initial payment, with deductions for any completed project phases.
5. General Provisions
• This policy is governed by applicable state and federal consumer protection laws. Where this policy conflicts with law, the law will prevail.
• JMM reserves the right to update this policy at any time, but changes will only apply to purchases made after the updated policy is posted.
• For defective or misdescribed products or services not delivered as promised, customers are always entitled to a full refund or replacement, regardless of the above terms.
